Dr. Prasit Aranyarachkul
Dr. Aranyarachkul, A.K.A. Dr. Aran, has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology since 2004. The Board awards Diplomate status upon those who, after the completion of postdoctoral advanced specialty training, successfully complete a two part examination, which consists of a comprehensive written and an oral examination.
Dr. Aran received his dental degree (D.D.S.) in 1995 from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. In 1999, he started his residency training in Advanced Periodontology at Loma Linda University, California, and received his Advanced Periodontics Certificate as well as Master degree (M.S.) in 2002. After graduation, he moved up to practice periodontics in King County, Washington. Due to his interest in the academic field, he also taught at the Department of Periodontics, the University of Washington. In 2009, Dr. Aran moved to Santa Clara County, and started his own practice in Saratoga, California. Dr. Aran is currently practicing at his office in the West San Jose area. Also, he is the Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Periodontology, UCSF School of Dentistry. Dr. Aran is an active member of several professional organizations; American Academy of Periodontology, American Board of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Santa Clara Dental Society. In his free time, he enjoys playing badminton, watching movies, and reading. |
