My regular dentist referred me to "Dr. Aran", for pocket reduction surgery. I had four surgeries, one for each quadrant, that went quite well. After three of them, I had a regular checkup with my regular dentist and the hygienist was quite impressed with his work. She actually said, "Dr. Aran is an artist! Why, just look at that contour"...which of course I couldn't see myself, but I thought it was cool that another professional was impressed. Dr. Aran is very kind and competent, and his office environment is both professional and soothing. If I ever need more dental surgery, I am definitely going to see Dr. Aran again.

I had two gum surgeries done by Dr Aran to close some gum pockets (upper and lower left quadrants). The second one is more involved since he said it'd involve some bone grafting. I was quite hesitant at first after seeing my wife face all swollen up and in a lot of pain after a similar procedure done 3 yrs ago by another specialist, and I know I have much lower pain threshold than her. Surprisingly the first surgery went extremely well in my opinion, hardly any pain at all. There was hardly any bleeding even after I got home, and I am already eating soft solid food the very next day. I didn't even need to take any of the pain medicine that he prescribed. Because the recovery went so smoothly, I didn't hesitate to sign up for the second surgery a couple of months later. That was completed 2 weeks ago with the same pain-free, problem-free result. All I can say is, Dr. Aran must have great techniques. He also genuinely seems to care about your welfare as he numbs my gum before giving me the needle so I don't feel the needle. He then kept asking me if I feel any pain throughout the surgery. If I need it, he's quick to add more numbing agent. I really appreciate that. He's also very professional and patient at explaining the procedures to put you at ease. He also spent a lot of time explaining how best I should brush and take care of my gum and teeth afterward. .. I can't recommend him more.

I was referred to Dr. Aran (a specialist) by my dentist. Obvioulsy, I was so impressed with the consultations, the attention to detail, the follow-thru and the art of dentisitry with Dr. Aran, that I am writing a review. Hands down...the man is brilliant in his work!
